The ATOS VQ is the new intermediate glider of our successful ATOS series. It took over the proven features of the ATOS VR. However the design focus was rather on relaxed handling than performance. 

A slightly shorter span using a “traditional” curved wing-tip instead of the winglets typical for the VR improved roll and turn handling by a wide margin. Together with an adapted spar design and a new, smaller flap we were able to save a remarkable amount of glider weight. Our new all-carbon keel gives the VQ a much better static balance and is a real eye-catcher.

 Further plus: a completely new rigging system makes set-up faster and easier than on all other Atos models.

The DHV certification tests were successfully finished.
